Information Dissemination Component

 

The component is aimed to spread most accurate and science-based unbiased information on pest management among policy makers, researchers, teachers, intellectuals and general public. All forums and means of information are being utilized so that the society by and large is sensitized to hazards and rational use of pesticides. The component is working on development of effective delivery system so that the messages conveyed are adopted by the stakeholders.

 

The major activities of the component include orientation of project staff & other stakeholders, NIPMIN Website, publications, electronic programme for awareness of IPM and information awareness seminars.
